In the first state hackathon Diia.AIContest, one of the winners secured funding to enhance AI technology enabling document translations for official approvals. The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported the results.
Over a span of three weeks, teams developed new AI-based products for the «Diia» application. A total of 270 participants entered the hackathon, with 10 teams presenting the strongest prototypes reaching the finals. Danilo Tsyvok, head of the AI solutions development center at the Ministry, noted that the winning solutions have great potential to be integrated into the «Diia» services.
The three winning teams received grants amounting to $8,000 and the opportunity to refine their developments for integration into the «Diia» application.
First place went to the creators of an AI translator for official document approvals, streamlining the translation and notarization process fully digitally.
The second place was awarded to a service for recording parking violations using photographs and geolocation.
The third place was secured by developers of an AI legal document constructor, allowing citizens to create legally sound contracts in minutes, avoiding risky online templates and legal fees.
