The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is launching an update for the "Reserve+" app, which now automatically displays the owner's photo in the electronic document. Users need to simply update the app to the latest version to enable this feature.
"We aim for digital tools to provide tangible benefits in everyday situations. Having a photo will make document verification faster and more transparent for everyone," said Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development.
Photos will only appear for "Reserve+" users who possess a biometric passport. The Reserve ID without images will retain the same legal validity as those that include photos.
The Ministry also notes that due to high demand, it may take longer for photos to load. If a photo does not appear within a few days, users can utilize the "Correct Data Online" feature in the app's menu.
