Top Google Searches in Ukraine for 2025
In 2025, Google announced the most searched topics in Ukraine, with the query «Power Outage Schedule» taking the top spot. This information was shared in the annual report by Google Ukraine.
«Today, Google summarizes the year by highlighting the queries that generated the most interest among Ukrainian users in 2025. The analysis of search activity has identified key themes, personalities, and events that captured the attention of Ukrainians throughout the year», the statement reads.
At the top, as last year, was the query «Power Outage Schedule». The second position was taken by the TV project «The Bachelor 2025», and the third was the series «Squid Game 2».
The top ten also included searches for: «Labuba», «Usyk Dubois», «Eurovision 2025», and «NABU».
In the «Personality» category, the boxer Oleksandr Usyk saw the highest interest growth.
Users were also keen to find more information about the actor and new «Bachelor» Taras Tsymbaliuk, Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, and the First Lady of the USA Melania Trump.
In the «Losses» category, the highest number of queries concerned the blogger Anna Zhuk, politician Andriy Parubiy, actor Roman Popov, and rock musician Ozzy Osbourne.
Among films, the most interest was generated by the sci-fi action movie «Chasm». The second and third places went to the gothic horror film «Nosferatu» and the drama «Good Bad Girl».
The top ten also featured a film based on the popular video game «Minecraft», the Oscar-winning film «Anora», and a new version of the Dracula story.
The leader in the TV series category was the second season of «Squid Game».
Also in the top were the new season of «Wednesday», the British crime drama «Gangsterland», Ukrainian series «Reverse Direction», «Little House on Happiness» and «Love and Flame»; the Turkish series «Distant City» and the Spanish «Billionaire Bunker».
In the «Shopping» category, the toy «Labuba» was the year's leader. Additionally, Ukrainians were interested in purchasing pickup trucks for the Armed Forces, women's military uniforms, and EcoFlow charging stations.
Throughout 2025, Ukrainian users frequently sought to clarify the meanings of terms such as «white ticket», «NABU», «mobilization order», and «contract for lifelong maintenance».
As explained by Google, the ranking is formed based on search queries that showed the most significant growth in popularity over the year compared to the previous period. This approach helps identify the most relevant trends and topics that interest people today.
