Speed Limit Changes in Kyiv and Dnipro

Starting November 1, a new phase of speed limit enforcement will commence in Kyiv and Dnipro. According to Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, these changes will affect speed limits in specific areas.
In Kyiv , the speed limit will decrease from 80 km/h to 50 km/h on the following sections:
- Hydropark Avenue (between Postal Square and Dnipro River Highway);
- R. Shukhevych Avenue (from the Northern Bridge to Honoré de Balzac Street);
- Stepan Bandera Avenue (between Jordan Street and the Northern Bridge);
- Naberezhno-Rybalska Street (towards the direction of Electrikiv Street to the Havan Bridge).
In Dnipro , the speed limit will change from 70 km/h to 50 km/h on these sections:
Naberezhna Zavodska Street, excluding:
- 200 meters on both sides of the intersection with Pavlov Street;
- the segment from the slag dump exit to the Kadyak Bridge;
- 50 meters on both sides of uncontrolled pedestrian crossings near Fatima Hafurova Street;
- Naberezhna Peremohy Street (between Yaruzi Street and Kosmichna Street);
- Zaporizke Highway (between Shynna Street and Airport Street);
- Donetsk Highway, from the intersection with Berezinska Street to sign 5.49 (50) "Dnipro";
- Sunny Naberezhna Street, from the intersection with Lyubarskyi Street to the Samarsky Bridge (except for areas within 50 meters of pedestrian crossings);
- Central Bridge;
- Kaiadatsky Bridge;
- Ust-Samarsky Bridge.
Biloshytskyi also noted that on roads where automatic violation recording is conducted, specifically:
- in Kyiv — on Hydropark Avenue, 4,
- in Dnipro — on Naberezhna Zavodska, 64 and Naberezhna Peremohy, 38-A, the new automatic violation detection systems will be recalibrated to reflect the current speed limits.
