Memorial to Military Chaplains Unveiled in Kyiv

In Kyiv, at the Alley of Defenders of Ukraine near the Arch of Freedom, a new memorial dedicated to — "Military Chaplains" has been unveiled. This was reported by the Military Chaplaincy Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The event took place on October 12, on the Day of Military Chaplains.
“This new memorial stands as a symbol of deep gratitude and respect for the selfless service of military clergy — those who stand by soldiers on the front lines, supporting them with words, prayers, and faith. It commemorates the contribution of military chaplains to the defense of Ukraine against aggression,” the statement reads.
Among the attendees were representatives of the government, officers of the Military Chaplaincy Service, chaplains of various denominations, military personnel, artists from the “Cultural Forces” community, and both Kyiv residents and visitors.
Following the ceremony, an interfaith prayer service for Ukraine was held at St. Sophia's Cathedral.
“On this sunny autumn day, participants honored all military chaplains with a moment of silence and a joint prayer, remembering those who stand daily beside the soldiers — offering pastoral support and faith in Ukraine's victory,” the Military Chaplaincy Service reported.
