Ukraine's Digital Revolution: New Features in Diia
Currently, over 23 million Ukrainians are making use of digital documents and services through the "Diia" platform. Since October 2024, the number of users has increased by two million. This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation.
Since its launch in 2020, "Diia" has introduced 33 digital documents and more than 70 services. Through the app, Ukrainians can access digital passports, diplomas, register vehicles, get married, and much more.
More than 25,000 government institutions and companies have integrated "Diia" services, enabling users to share digital documents instead of paper ones, use "Diia.Signature" for signing documents, and complete forms automatically.
In early September, Ukraine became the first country to launch a government assistant based on artificial intelligence within "Diia", capable of answering questions and providing services directly in the chat.
Moreover, at the end of September, "Diia" introduced a new service that allows Ukrainians to apply for multiple social benefits in one request. During the summer, the multi-account "Diia Card" was launched to facilitate government payments.
Other features of the platform include weapon registration, which generated 200,000 permits in just one week, a quick tool for reporting internet or communication issues, and even a certificate of single status.
