In response to the threats of Russian attacks, «Ukrainian Railways» is adjusting its routes in frontline regions. This was announced by the chairman of «Ukrainian Railways», Oleksandr Pertzovsky, during a telethon.
«I won’t go into details, but we are restructuring our routes to minimize safety risks»,— he stated.
Pertzovsky noted that the Russian army continues to target rolling stock, yet the company does not plan to halt services to frontline communities.
«Frontline areas face daily attacks. However, it is crucial to maintain connections with these cities… We urge all passengers to heed the instructions of train crews and station staff. Certain sections will be served by buses, and routes will be altered to minimize risks»,— added Pertzovsky.
