Starting from October 10, 2023, JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" will introduce a new train connecting Kyiv and Bucharest. This was announced by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.
The train will run daily, passing through Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhmerinka, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Velchynets, Ungheni, Iași, and ending in Romania's capital, Bucharest.
Departure from Kyiv is at 06:30, arriving in Bucharest at 06:47 the next day.
For the return journey, the train will leave Bucharest at 19:10, reaching Kyiv at 19:41 the following day.
The train will stop at Bucharest's central station – Gara de Nord, from where high-speed trains regularly run to the airport.
The ticket price for a compartment carriage will be approximately 3800 UAH.
