Pilkington and NovaSklo Join Forces for Float Glass Production

Pilkington Technology Management Limited, a subsidiary of Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG Group), has entered into an agreement with NovaSklo to provide engineering expertise for the construction of a float glass production line in Kyiv region, Ukraine.

This was announced in a press release by NSG Group.

NSG Group engineers will offer their technical knowledge throughout all project phases – design, construction, and commissioning – at the request of the NovaSklo project team.

Upon completion, NovaSklo will become the first high-tech facility of its kind in Ukraine, built to meet the highest standards of energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Together with the Ukrainian project team, NSG Group experts have already been involved in shaping the master plan of the project, aligning it with the expectations and standards of leading international industry players.

Furthermore, NSG Group will provide consulting services on technology optimization, energy efficiency, and security system implementation.

Built under an ESG-oriented production model and according to international standards, the plant will also create over 300 jobs.
