Kyiv Mayor Collaborates with Google on Digital Transformation

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, held a meeting with a delegation from Google led by Vice President Annette Krober-Riel to discuss collaboration on digitalization.

During the meeting, topics such as the integration of data on accessibility, shelters, and safe routes into Google Maps were discussed. They also explored the potential of utilizing artificial intelligence for improving transportation models and urban planning.

According to Klitschko, artificial intelligence can play a crucial role in enhancing urban services, making them more accessible and convenient for residents.

Google continues to be a reliable partner for Ukraine in matters of digital development, cybersecurity, and economic recovery, having provided over 45 million dollars in financial assistance and more than 10 million dollars in technical solutions and educational resources over the past three years.

The mayor expressed gratitude to the Google team for their support of Ukraine and their role in the capital's digital changes. In turn, Google representatives praised Kyiv's achievements in urban service digitalization and the "Kyiv Digital" project.

The Kyiv authorities emphasized their interest in further developing bilateral cooperation with Google.
