A large wildfire has erupted on Khortytsia Island in Zaporizhzhia, quickly spreading due to the wind.
This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council via Telegram.
"A massive fire on Khortytsia is consuming dry grass, shrubs, and trees. The flames are spreading rapidly due to the heat and wind," the message states.
It is noted that the Civil Protection Situational Center personnel are on-site, involving 87 people and 23 units of equipment. The utilities "Vodokanal" and "Eluash" have provided water supply for firefighting efforts.
