A traffic accident involving injuries occurred on Khreshchatyk Street. The incident took place today around 7:00 AM.
The driver of a Volkswagen, while driving along Khreshchatyk towards Bessarabskaya Square, lost control of the vehicle and veered onto the pedestrian area, colliding with a concrete barrier of the underground passage. The 43-year-old driver was hospitalized with an open fracture of the leg. It has been preliminarily established that he was sober.
