Celebrating Statehood Day: A Tribute to Unity and Strength
Dear citizens of Ukraine!
Today, on July 15th, we celebrate an important occasion: Statehood Day.
This day marks the historical roots of our nation and its evolution. It symbolizes the connection between generations of Ukrainians who lived here thousands of years ago and those who are here today.
This day reminds us that we have always been, are, and will be on our land.
In this land, life flourishes, and our values and character prevail. The best in our people shines through, as they retain their humanity and support one another despite the hardships.
These are stories of resilience, showcasing how we endure these challenging times - from soldiers to teachers, from musicians to ordinary citizens.
These are stories of our days and nights, of how we stand together even when threats loom over our safety.
Stories of small joys, of grandmothers playing with their grandchildren, even in the toughest of times.
We remain Ukrainians, no matter the challenges, and together we rise to defend our nation.
When we see life returning, cafes opening their doors, we understand that the strength of our state lies in its people.
In the stops and queues, we feel this unity that binds us together in these difficult times.
Each day we overcome together, supporting each other, sharing jokes, and lending help.
Today, on Statehood Day, I thank all Ukrainians for their perseverance and strength. We cannot do otherwise, for this is our home.
