New Housing Project for Displaced Persons in Bila Tserkva
The Ministry of Community Development and Territories of Ukraine, together with the Mariupol City Council, is initiating a new project for internally displaced persons from Mariupol - the establishment of a new residential quarter in Bila Tserkva.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine's Recovery, Oleksiy Kuleba, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".
The project is financed by the budget of the Mariupol community. It is expected that the government will adopt the necessary decision next week to start the works.
The first stages of construction are planned to commence this year.
The project involves the construction of three residential complexes. A municipal land plot of approximately 11 hectares has already been allocated for its implementation.
According to Kuleba, the new quarter will be based on two housing solutions: municipal rental housing provided to displaced persons under social conditions through a transparent distribution system, and subsidized mortgages available for Mariupol residents who can purchase housing but require state support. Priority groups include servicemen, veterans, families of the deceased, large families, and people with disabilities.
