Tragic Accident in Romania: Bus Carrying Ukrainians Collides

A tragic incident occurred in Romania when a bus carrying 60 Ukrainians collided with a minibus, resulting in one fatality.

The accident took place on the morning of June 30 on the DN2 highway in Bacau County, in the northeastern part of the country. The bus, which had 60 Ukrainian citizens including 21 children, collided with a minibus that was parked on the roadside. Preliminary information suggests that the bus crashed into the minibus.
Police in Bacau reported that a 29-year-old woman from Romania, who was in the minibus, lost her life in the accident. Four other individuals from the minibus sustained injuries and were hospitalized in serious condition. One person from the bus was also hospitalized, while six others, including two children, received necessary assistance at the scene.
Details regarding the citizenship of the bus driver have not been disclosed, indicating only that he is not a Romanian citizen. A breathalyzer test returned negative results.
