Electric Vehicle Registrations in Ukraine: First Quarter of 2025 Overview

During the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine welcomed 12,800 electric vehicles (BEV) into its fleet.

This was reported by Ukravtoprom.

The highest registration numbers came from:

• Lviv region – 1961 units (94% used);
• Kyiv city – 1632 units (68% used);
• Kyiv region – 1120 units (76% used);
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used);
• Odesa region – 761 units (76% used).

Among new vehicles, the most popular electric model was the BYD Song Plus EV.

As for imported used cars:

• TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and its region;
• TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions;
• NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.

Reminder:

• In January-March, Ukrainians purchased 12,000 imported used cars aged up to 5 years.
