Diplomatic Success at the Paris Meeting
The French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot described the meeting held in Paris on April 17 as a significant diplomatic achievement that brought together representatives from the USA, Europe, and Ukraine.
He stated this in an interview with LCI, as reported by "European Truth".
Following the talks, which included delegates from Ukraine, the UK, France, Germany, and the USA, Barrot emphasized that it was a "success" for his country.
"This is the first time Americans, Ukrainians, and Europeans have come together at the same table," he noted.
The minister stressed the importance of such meetings, as they contribute to achieving a common goal: peace.
"To make this happen, we must continue the dialogue. The Americans are eager to end this conflict," he added, asserting that the Americans are "listening" and wanting a ceasefire.
As reported, on April 17, French President Emmanuel Macron hosted a delegation from the USA at the Élysée Palace. A meeting also took place in Paris between the Ukrainian delegation and representatives from France, Germany, and the UK.
The special representative of the US President on Ukraine issues, Keith Kellogg, described the meetings in Paris as "very productive" and shared a photo with the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
