Celebrating Easter in Times of War: Safety Tips

On April 20, Ukrainians will celebrate Easter amidst an ongoing war. There are significant risks of missile attacks and provocations on this day.

The Patrol Police have provided recommendations for believers on how to safely observe Easter.

According to Oleksii Biloshytskyi, the first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department, Ukrainians should:

• avoid large gatherings and consider online services;
• not fall for potential provocations;
• observe the curfew set in their region;
• not ignore air raid alerts;
• immediately report any suspicious individuals or items to the police or call emergency lines 112/102.

The police also urged everyone to maintain public order and follow traffic regulations.
