New Sanctions Imposed by Ukraine on Former Officials

Ukraine has enacted new economic sanctions against former NBU head Serhiy Arbuzov and former presidential administration chief Andriy Klyuev.
This was confirmed by a decree signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The sanctions also target businessmen Viktor Polishchuk and Alona Shevtsova.
Details on the sanctions against Klyuev and Arbuzov
The sanctions affect high-ranking officials from Viktor Yanukovych's presidency - Serhiy Arbuzov and Andriy Klyuev.
Restrictions were also placed on Viktor Polishchuk, who owned the home appliance store chain 'Eldorado', and Alona Shevtsova, co-owner of 'Ayboks Bank'.
According to media reports, the sanctions include the annulment of state awards, asset blocking, and a ban on business activities in Ukraine.
The decree takes effect from the date of publication.
Zelensky also imposed sanctions on Kremlin propagandists
This week, President Volodymyr Zelensky enacted sanctions against 71 individuals and 18 media outlets associated with Russian propaganda.
The imposed restrictions involve asset blocking, annulment of state awards, limitations on trade operations, and a ban on media dissemination within Ukraine.
