A new scam scheme has emerged in Ukraine posing as «Ukrposhta».
This is reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Scam scheme impersonating «Ukrposhta»
Users are receiving suspicious messages about parcel deliveries, asking them to update delivery addresses through a link.
If you receive such a notification - do not click on it and do not follow the link.
«Under no circumstances should you click on such links or enter your information, as scammers can gain access to your personal data».
How to identify scammers: tips from «Ukrposhta»
«Ukrposhta» emphasizes that they do not send messages from unknown numbers.
The company warns that extra punctuation marks are a sign of fraud.
«Any additional dashes, commas, periods, or extra letters indicate fraud. Moreover, we do not send messages from «unknown» numbers. Do not share your banking information with third parties», the statement reads.
