Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish leader Karol Nawrocki will be visiting Lithuania on Sunday, January 25.
This information was confirmed to the BNS agency by the Polish embassy.
The presidents of both nations, alongside Lithuanian leader Gitanas Nausėda, will participate in the commemoration of the 1863-1864 uprising aimed at liberating the peoples of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland from the Russian Empire.
This will mark Karol Nawrocki's second visit to Lithuania, while Zelensky will be visiting for the fifth time since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In total, this will be his seventh visit.
Earlier, Nawrocki expressed plans to hold a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
It is worth noting that on December 19, Zelensky visited Poland where he met with Nawrocki. The Polish president stated that issues of national memory were among the key topics during the discussions between the presidents of Ukraine and Poland in Warsaw, and Poland hopes for their swift resolution. Zelensky called the first bilateral meeting with his Polish counterpart a positive experience.
