Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Presidential Office, has announced his decision to head to the front lines. He confirmed this in a message to the New York Post on Friday evening.
«I am heading to the front and ready for any challenges. I have always acted honestly and fairly», – he stated.
Yermak also apologized for any potential unavailability due to his new path. He did not specify when he intends to go to the front or whether he will join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
«My dignity has been disrespected, even though I've been in Kyiv since February 24, 2022. I do not wish to create issues for Zelensky; thus, I am going to the front. I am outraged by the negativity directed at me, and even more by the lack of support from those who know the truth», – he added.
It is worth noting that President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Andriy Yermak from his position as head of the Presidential Office after Yermak submitted his resignation letter.
