On December 1st, in honor of World AIDS Day, an important event will take place in the capital of Ukraine, where anyone interested can receive free and anonymous HIV testing, as well as testing for hepatitis B and C.
This was announced by the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration.
The event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive consultations from specialists about infection prevention, the importance of early diagnosis, and modern treatment options.
The Department emphasizes that Kyiv continues to meet its commitments under the international Fast-Track Cities program aimed at combating the HIV epidemic in major cities. One of the key indicators of this program is the accessibility of early testing, which allows for timely detection of the virus and prompt initiation of treatment.
The event is organized by the Kyiv City Center for Prevention and Combating AIDS with support from the Department of Health of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Testing will take place at: 34 Beresteiskyi Avenue (Morphological Building).
