On November 25, a large Christmas tree was installed at Kyiv's Central Railway Station, becoming a significant symbol of the winter holidays for travelers and guests of the capital. The tree, adorned with garlands, ornaments, and festive decorations, is located in the main hall of the station.
This tree is part of the city's larger preparations for the winter celebrations. Social media is filled with photos and videos of the festive decor.
The purpose of the station's decorations is to create a warm atmosphere for those traveling in December. For many Kyiv residents and city guests, the Central Station is the first point of contact with the capital, making its decoration an essential part of holiday tradition.
Preparations are also underway in Kyiv for the main country's Christmas tree on Sofiiska Square, which will be opened on December 6, St. Nicholas Day.
This year, Christmas trees will be set up in various locations throughout the city — in all districts. According to the city administration, seasonal Christmas markets will operate at over 140 sites.
