Ukraine is actively working to incorporate a crucial point in its peace plan regarding the release of all Ukrainian prisoners and the return of children abducted by Russia. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech at the Fourth Parliamentary Summit of the Crimea Platform.
He emphasized that Ukraine will continue its collaboration with international partners, particularly the United States, to achieve a compromise that strengthens its position. The state highlights the dangers of ignoring aggression.
"Do not be silent, passive observers of history. Be its active participants," he urged the summit attendees.
Zelensky also underlined the impossibility of changing borders by force. Since November 23, negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation and American and European representatives have been ongoing in Geneva. Ukraine seeks to alter the points of the "peace plan" presented by the U.S. that threaten its sovereignty.
