The young man has been charged. For his actions, he could face up to five years of imprisonment.
The Kyiv police received a call from a local resident reporting that an unknown young man climbed onto the roof of a car on Enthusiasts Street, kicking the windshield, breaking the mirror, and deflating the tires. A team from the Dnipro Police Department arrived at the scene.
Vadim Boloto, the deputy head of the Dnipro Police Department, stated that officers located and arrested the suspect within an hour under Article 298-2 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine:
"The offender turned out to be a 21-year-old resident of Kyiv, who was intoxicated. He later explained that he damaged the vehicle because he lost control due to excessive alcohol consumption."
Investigators from the Dnipro Police Department have charged the suspect under part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – gross violation.
