28-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Selling Drugs from Home

A 28-year-old woman from Kyiv was caught selling psychotropic substances without leaving her home. Her clients, mostly friends, received the "goods" through her apartment window. She faces a potential sentence of up to eight years in prison. 
Law enforcement from the Svyatoshyn Police Department uncovered the illegal activities of the local resident, who was buying and distributing narcotics.
During a sanctioned search of her residence, police seized 30 plastic zip bags containing drugs, electronic scales, cash, and mobile phones. The woman was arrested under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
It was established that she sold psychotropic substances without leaving her apartment. Clients would come to her house and receive the "goods" through the window on the first floor.
Investigators have charged her under part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – illegal acquisition, storage, and sale of narcotic drugs, committed repeatedly. The penalty for this article may reach ten years of imprisonment.
