The Urgency of Peace: American Diplomat's Visit to Ukraine

The U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, currently on an official visit to Ukraine, emphasized the pressing need to end the war. The American diplomat shared this message on social media platform X.
Whitaker expressed his pleasure at meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.
“I conveyed my belief that this senseless war must come to an end, and peace, aided by the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump, is the only way forward,” stated the U.S. representative.
In Kyiv, Zelensky held discussions with representatives from the U.S., United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Canada, and the Netherlands at NATO.
