On Monday, October 20, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha will participate in the EU Council meeting in Luxembourg. He announced this on social media platform X.
According to Sybiha, the meeting will focus on the next steps towards achieving a just peace.
"Continued pressure on Moscow is critically important, including the 19th package of EU sanctions and the full utilization of frozen Russian assets," emphasized the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
Sybiha will inform his EU counterparts about the latest Russian attacks on Ukraine and the urgent need for energy assistance ahead of winter.
They will also discuss cooperation in defense and strengthening Ukraine's air defense and long-range capabilities, particularly through the PURL initiative and the SAFE mechanism.
Sybiha noted that during his stay in Luxembourg, he plans to hold a series of bilateral meetings with our partners.
