In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, a traffic accident has left five people injured, including two children. The incident occurred on Salyutna Street when a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter truck collided with a BYD passenger car. The impact sent the BYD onto the sidewalk where pedestrians were present.
Among the injured are the driver of the BYD and his 11-year-old son, both of whom have been hospitalized. Additionally, three pedestrians sustained injuries, including a woman with a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
Investigators from the capital's police department and patrol officers are currently at the scene examining the circumstances of the accident.
