Ukraine and Raytheon: Strengthening Defense Capabilities

President Volodymyr Zelensky, following a meeting with representatives of the defense company Raytheon, known for its Patriot systems, stated that there are solutions available that can significantly enhance the protection of life in Ukraine. Zelensky shared this information on his Facebook page.
«I discussed the battlefield situation and the increasing strikes by Russia against our people and civilian infrastructure,» he noted.
The parties examined Raytheon’s production capabilities, potential cooperation avenues to bolster air defense, and increase Ukraine's long-range strike capabilities, as well as prospects for Ukrainian-American manufacturing.
«There are solutions that can greatly improve security in Ukraine. We are working at all levels to ensure their implementation. I thank Raytheon for their continued support of Ukraine,» Zelensky emphasized.
According to the President's official website, he expressed gratitude to the manufacturers for the Patriot systems and highlighted that they have already saved many lives.
The President stated that Russia is not achieving any of its goals, which is why it is intensifying attacks on civilian infrastructure and people, particularly targeting the energy system. During these attacks, the Russians deploy over 500 drones and dozens of missiles daily.
Raytheon representatives expressed condolences to the Ukrainian people who have lost loved ones due to Russian strikes and assured their readiness to continue supporting Ukraine.
