On Friday, the Polish Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski arrived in Kyiv. This was reported on the official social media account of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Today, Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski has started his visit to Ukraine,” the statement said.
Upon arrival at the train station, Sikorski was greeted by his Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sybiha. Sybiha noted on social media that he also met with American writer and Pulitzer Prize winner Anne Applebaum.
“Amid the escalating terror from Russia against Ukraine and provocations against Poland, we stand united. Today, we will hold in-depth discussions regarding our mutual security, Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO, and pressure on Moscow,” Sybiha wrote.
He also thanked Poland for its leadership and support.
