A tragic incident occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, where a 38-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter were discovered with signs of strangulation in an apartment.
The woman's 38-year-old partner, a foreign national, is suspected of committing this heinous crime. He rented an apartment in the same area and ultimately took his own life by jumping from the 20th floor.
The investigative department of the Shevchenkivskyi police has opened a criminal case under part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to the intentional murder of two individuals. Investigative actions are ongoing to clarify all circumstances of the crime, with several expert examinations appointed.
