In the capital of Ukraine, August 29 is declared a Day of Mourning in honor of those who lost their lives due to the tragic events of August 28.
All municipal buildings in the city have flags lowered today as a sign of grief. Additionally, it is recommended to lower national flags on both state and private properties. On August 29, all entertainment activities are prohibited in Kyiv.
