The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin ended without any agreements or announcements of a ceasefire in Ukraine, despite claims of "significant progress".
This was revealed at the joint press conference of Trump and Putin.
Details: Trump reported that during their bilateral meeting, various issues were discussed, but no formal agreements were reached.
"There is no agreement until there is an agreement," Trump emphasized.
Trump’s statement: "I will call NATO later. I will reach out to various people whom I deem necessary. And, of course, I will call President Zelensky and inform him about today’s meeting. Ultimately, the decision is theirs."
Details: Trump also stated that negotiations with Putin were "extremely productive" and "a lot of issues were aligned."
"We didn’t agree, but we have a very good chance of agreeing," Trump said.
