Foreign Ministers' Meeting: New Avenues for Cooperation

A significant meeting of foreign ministers from Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania has commenced in Chernivtsi, featuring Andrii Sybiga, Mihai Popșoi, and Oana Cuzino.

This was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The ministers began their visit by honoring the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, who sacrificed their lives in the fight for Ukraine's independence over the last decade.

For the first time, foreign ministers of Poland and Lithuania, Radosław Sikorski and Kęstutis Budrys, will join this meeting in an online format.

“Combining these two significant formats will enhance synergy between them and the participating countries, highlighting the indivisibility of security in the Black Sea and Baltic regions,” the Ministry noted.

The agenda includes discussions on Russia's war against Ukraine, cybersecurity, countering disinformation and Russian interference in domestic affairs, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, energy security, border infrastructure development, security in the Black and Baltic Seas, as well as the Danube region and other pressing issues.
