As of July 1, there were 15 patients in hospitals, but that number has now risen to 68, including 24 children.
Patients with severe illness requiring continuous medical care and oxygen support are being admitted to hospitals.
The Health Department advises Kyiv residents to carry masks when in shelters during air raid alerts.
"Amid increasing hostile attacks, we reiterate: shelters are a safe haven!
However, being in enclosed spaces with limited ventilation heightens the risk of infection, particularly from COVID-19," experts say.
