Safety Measures in Desnyansky District: New Initiatives
New safety measures are underway in the Desnyansky District of Kyiv, implemented by the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police.
This was announced via the Facebook page of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
Together with other defense forces, the SBU and National Police are conducting planned actions to ensure security in the area.
The main goal of these actions is to check counter-terrorism measures in locations with high foot traffic.
During these operations, law enforcement officials:
- inspect territories and various buildings (residences, offices, public spaces, service establishments) to detect prohibited items;
- check individuals present in the area;
- assess the level of counter-terrorism security for local structures.
- These operations are conducted with consideration of the martial law regime.
During these activities, there may be restrictions on movement on city streets, checks of personal documents, and vehicle inspections.
The SBU urges citizens to understand the potential inconveniences and to comply with the lawful demands of law enforcement.
It is also important to carry identification documents and adhere to the curfew.
The Security Service emphasizes its commitment to legality and the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens in its operations.
