Exhibition Celebrating the Resilience of Ukrainian Women in Kyiv
The Museum of History in Kyiv is hosting a significant exhibition titled «Heart Outward. Blooming Resilience» until August 3, showcasing the strength, tenderness, and resilience of Ukrainian women – mothers and wives of fallen heroes. This exhibition was initiated by the public organization of families of fallen defenders of Ukraine, «Heart Outward».
The museum's director and Kyiv City Council member, Victoria Mukha, stated: «The exhibition is dedicated to the mothers and wives of fallen heroes who raised, supported, and inspired them throughout their lives. Today, they continue to live in their memory, preserving and passing on remembrance with dignity and love. The blooming images symbolize the premature loss of the best of our nation, who gave their lives in the fight for freedom and independence of Ukraine. Additionally, these are personal memories of loved ones, where pain and pride coexist. The exhibition includes not only twenty stories of heroes, mothers, and families – it is the story of Ukraine, held together by such wounded hearts, filled with love, dignity, and faith in victory. It also serves as support and inspiration for all who have lost loved ones in this war, a call to hold on and unite, reminding us all of the price we pay for freedom and independence.»
