The «Kyiv Digital» app has concluded a survey about transporting dogs in the capital's metro system.
The survey lasted for two weeks, gathering significant feedback from users.
When asked if they own a dog, 45% of respondents answered affirmatively (25% have small dogs, 14% have large dogs, and 6% have multiple dogs), while 55% reported not having any dogs.
Regarding support for the initiative to allow dogs in the metro, 61% fully support it, 5% support it only for small dogs in carriers, 26% support it under clear safety and cleanliness rules, 7% are categorically against dog transportation in the metro, and 1% chose other options.
Additionally, users were asked what could ensure comfortable and safe dog transportation in the metro. 36% said mandatory muzzles for large dogs, 35% preferred transporting dogs on short leashes or in special bags, 17% suggested dedicated spaces in wagons for passengers with dogs, 10% stated that one passenger should only transport one dog, and 3% provided other suggestions.
A total of 101,900 users participated in the «Kyiv Digital» survey.
