In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, the funicular will be out of service from July 14 to August 22 for its annual scheduled maintenance.
This information was shared by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration, referring to the Kyivpastrans utility.
During the maintenance, specialists will repair the machine room, compressor room, and thyristor hall. They will inspect the rail tracks and partially replace the sleepers.
Furthermore, plans include a comprehensive overhaul of the train’s components and systems, the refurbishment of the machine room, and bodywork repairs.
