The Ukrainian team has decided to withdraw from the IESF WEC 2025 esports tournament in Dota 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (women's), and PUBG Mobile.
This information was shared by the Ukrainian Esports Federation.
The boycott is due to the participation of the Belarusian national team, which was allowed by the International Esports Federation.
However, the Ukrainian team will compete in Counter-Strike 2 since the Belarusian team did not qualify.
"We regret having to take this step, but we remain committed to the values we uphold both internationally and domestically," the statement reads.
It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian team in Counter-Strike 2 is fully represented by the TNL organization, which achieved a 100% victory rate in the qualifiers.
The World Esports Championship 2025 will take place in Kosovo over seven weeks, starting in July and concluding at the end of August.
