Eurovision Finalists: Ukraine Represented by Ziferblat
The finalists have been announced for the show happening this Saturday, May 17. According to the voting results, Ukraine has advanced to the next stage, represented by the band Ziferblat with the song "Bird of Pray".
During the first semi-final, Ziferblat showcased a truly magical performance featuring pyrotechnics. The staging was executed in soft pink shades with elements of retro aesthetics. The stylish costumes of the band members, reminiscent of the 70s, perfectly complemented the deep message of the song. The powerful vocals of Daniil Leshchynskyi, filled with the pain for Ukraine, received thunderous applause in the St. Jakobshalle.
The contest song "Bird of Pray", written in both English and Ukrainian, tells a story of loss and hope, about a spiritual prayer that overcomes the chaos of war and the darkness of inner struggle. Special mention goes to the backing vocalist Kristina, who, despite the tragic loss of her home due to shelling in eastern Ukraine, performed on stage, moving many in the audience.
The grand final of "Eurovision 2025", in which Ukraine is participating, will take place on Saturday, May 17. A total of 26 countries will compete. Our band Ziferblat will once again showcase their talent and strive to win for Ukraine.
