Shooting Incident in Kyiv Hotel: Full Story
On Wednesday morning, a shooting incident took place at a hotel in the Svjatoshyn district of Kyiv. The shooter was apprehended, and fortunately, there were no casualties. It turned out that the perpetrator was an intoxicated resident from Khmelnytskyi region.

Updated. Later, law enforcement revealed that the suspect was a 26-year-old man who had come to the capital for work about a week ago and checked into the hotel. While intoxicated in his room, he fired several shots with a firearm, after which he was arrested by the authorities.
Police confiscated the weapon, which will be sent for examination. The shooter has been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and investigators are currently working with him. He faces up to seven years in prison.
