Youth International Forum in Kyiv
A forum took place in Ukraine's capital where young leaders and students participated in an event called «Model UN», allowing them to discuss pressing issues in international economics.
This event was organized by the Kyiv City Youth Council in collaboration with the academic council of the International Economics Faculty at KNTEU named after Vadym Hetman, with the support of city council member Yuliya Yarmolenko.
Yuliya Yarmolenko remarked: «This event highlighted the significance of UN member states in overcoming economic challenges. The world is changing rapidly, and the youth must learn to make decisions in uncertain conditions. Through the «Model UN», participants not only deepen their understanding of international relations but also develop negotiation skills and the ability to reach compromises. They gain experience that will be beneficial in their careers. In this way, we are nurturing a new generation of confident and conscious leaders for our country».
Vladimir Serebriansky, a member of the Kyiv Youth Council, emphasized: «This project is not just educational but also a platform for generating ideas and broadening perspectives. We aimed to create an environment where each student could try their hand at being a diplomat, enhance their analytical thinking, and better understand complex international processes. We are confident that our youth will change Ukraine and the world for the better».
