Ukrainian basketball player Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk has reached a new milestone by setting a record for points scored in an NBA game.
The FBU reports this news.
The small forward for the Utah Jazz played for 28 minutes against the Oklahoma team, scoring a total of 27 points (5/6 two-pointers, 5/14 three-pointers, 2/3 free throws). Additionally, he contributed with 3 rebounds and 3 assists, but had 2 turnovers.
This match marked Mykhailiuk's highest scoring game in his NBA career; he had previously reached 26 points several times, the last being while playing for Boston last season.
Unfortunately, his performance did not help Utah avoid a loss to Oklahoma, ending the game at 111:145 in favor of the Thunder.
Earlier, it was reported that Minnesota set a franchise record in their matchup against Memphis.
