Ukraine's Women's Team Triumphs at the 2025 European Wrestling Championship

The women's team of Ukraine has won the team ranking at the 2025 European Wrestling Championship taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Overall, the blue and yellow team scored 180 points, with Turkey coming in second at 158 points, and Romania securing third place with 79 points.

Ukrainian wrestlers brought home 8 medals, including 4 gold medals.

The champions included Oksana Livach, Anastasia Alpeyeva, Irina Bondar, and Alla Belinska.

Bronze medals were awarded to Alina Filipovich, Oleksandra Khomenets, Irina Kolyadenko, and Solomiya Vynnyk.

The European Championship began on April 7, and over the course of a week, representatives of freestyle, Greco-Roman, and women's wrestling will compete for 30 medals across ten weight categories.
