Ukrainian Swimmers Shine at International Championships

Ukrainian athletes brought home 15 medals from the international tournament "Open Championship of Lithuania", reflecting their excellent training.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The gold medals were won by: Vadym Naumenko (400 m individual medley); Vadym Naumenko (200 m individual medley); Nika Sharafutdinova (200 m backstroke); Denys Kesil (200 m butterfly); the team of Anton Denysenko, Denys Kesil, Maksym Ovchynnikov, and Vadym Naumenko (4 x 100 m medley relay); and Georgiy Lukashev, Anton Denysenko, Denys Kesil, and Vadym Naumenko (4 x 200 m freestyle relay).
Silver medals were claimed by Maksym Ovchynnikov (100 m breaststroke); Maksym Ovchynnikov (50 m breaststroke); Anton Denysenko (400 m individual medley); Anton Denysenko (200 m individual medley); Georgiy Lukashev (200 m butterfly); and Denys Kesil (100 m butterfly).
Bronze medals were secured by Denys Kesil (50 m butterfly); Nika Sharafutdinova (50 m backstroke); and Georgiy Lukashev (400 m freestyle).
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported the loss of 591 Ukrainian athletes during the war.
