On June 23, during an extraordinary meeting, the government announced the allocation of over 22 billion UAH, provided by international partners, for the country's recovery.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
Of this amount, nearly 18.5 billion UAH from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be directed towards healthcare, education, agriculture, humanitarian demining, and the restoration of municipal infrastructure.
Additionally, around 1.4 billion UAH from JICA will be allocated for energy sector recovery and training of sapper teams to clear the land from mines.
The European Union is providing approximately 2.2 billion UAH for modernization of port facilities and transport infrastructure.
