According to sources from the Financial Times, the profit information was released ahead of a bond issuance. This involves bonds amounting to approximately $1.5 billion intended for refinancing existing debt.
The terms include investors having the right to purchase shares at a 20% discount should Telegram go public.
The bond sale, which began on May 20, could conclude as early as next week.
Documents indicate that Telegram has issued bonds totaling around $2.4 billion over the past four years. From September to December 2024, the company repurchased bonds worth $375 million.
